Description: Methylcobalamin + Alpha Lipoic Acid + Thiamine mononitrate + Pyridoxine Hydrochloride + Folic Acid is a combination of five medicines. Methylcobalamin, the active form of vitamin B12, restores its level in the body, thereby helping in treating certain anemias and nerve problems known as pernicious anaemia and peripheral neuropathy, and also neural tube defects. Alpha lipoic acid acts as an antioxidant that helps to reduce DNA damage, which causes cell apoptosis (cell death). Thiamine mononitrate contains thiamine, which is essential for energy metabolism. Pyridoxine hydrochloride enhances the formation of new cells that are needed throughout life, especially during times of injury or illness. Folacin increases the production of red blood cells, which promotes healing after a serious accident or surgical procedure.
Note: All these medications should be taken under doctor's supervision.
