Description: Meronem 1000mg injection is an antibiotic that works to treat severe infections of the skin, lungs, stomach, urinary tract, blood, and brain (e.g., meningitis) caused by different types of bacteria. Meronem is FDA - approved for injection only in a solution (1mL/100 cc) used intravenously. It has no local or topical antimicrobial activity. Meronem does not have clinically meaningful activity against gram negative bacteria or fungi.
